Congratulations to Baril’s newest AERA Certified Engine Machinists!
Dawson, Chris, Paul, and Jake recently completed the extensive coursework & testing to earn their AERA Cylinder Head and Engine Machinist Certifications. Nine members of the Baril Engine team have completed this rigorous program in the last two years alone!
We believe that Baril Engine now has more AERA Certified Engine Machinists than any other shop in the country.
Our Industry’s Next Generation
This spring, we welcomed several Northeastern Wisconsin Technical College and Fox Valley Technical College student groups into our shop for an extensive shop tour and introduction to our engine building and machining processes. These groups were:
- Automotive Technician – FVTC
- Automotive Technician – NWTC
- Diesel & Heavy Equipment – NWTC
- Diesel & Heavy Truck – NWTC
Baril Engine has long been part of the NWTC Advisory Committees for these programs. Through regular meetings with NWTC program instructors, we have provided real-world insights on curriculum adjustments to best prepare the students to enter the labor force.
